SlimLUX is a non-invasive body contouring treatment designed to target stubborn pockets of localised fat, improve the appearance of cellulite and help firm and smooth the skin - without surgery or downtime.
Using a combination (depending on the area of concern) of ultrasound fat cavitation, radiofrequency (RF) and vacuum suction, SlimLUX works on both the underlying contour and the appearance of the skin.

Ultrasound Fat Cavitation targets localised areas of stubborn fat, helping to refine your shape. It is a medically-established scientific principle that works by applying ultrasound energy to the targeted area of fat cells, converting the fat to a liquid state. The fatty acids are then dispersed and processed through the lymphatic system - your body’s natural filtration system. Ultrasound Fat Cavitation is specially designed to treat only the targeted fatty areas and not affect surrounding tissue.
Radio Frequency skin tightening (RF) gently heats the tissue to support collagen and elastin activity, helping skin appear firmer and tighter. It is ideal for sagging/ loose skin including the 'mum-tum'. RF heating stimulates collagen and elastin production, giving firmer, tighter, more lifted skin over a series of treatments.
Vacuum Suction Lymphatic Drainage lifts and massages the tissue, supporting circulation and lymphatic movement while helping to smooth uneven, dimpled-looking skin. It is used to flush the liquified fat through your lymphatic system. The suction component helps smooth the skin and reduces Cellulite, bloating or fluid retention.
What does The treatment feel like?
Ultrasound Fat Cavitation is completely non-surgical, non-invasive and doesn’t require anesthesia. Most clients describe the treatment as painless and comfortable. The ultrasound treatment does emit a high-pitched sound but is generally well tolerated.
Radiofrequency (RF) feels warm. The skin will reach up to 42c depending on the area treated and is not painful. Vacuum Suction can be mildly uncomfortable depending on the area and type of fat or cellulite we are treating.
Can I get on with my day after treatment?
Yes! Body Contouring treatments require absolutely no downtime, so you can go about your usual daily activities following your sessions.
How many Ultrasound Body Contouring treatments will I need?
Depending on your individual situation (which will be assessed during your consultation), you may need anywhere between 5 and 12 treatments for optimum results. You’ll start to feel the effects after the very first treatment and by the third treatment, you should begin to see real improvements take place. Treatments are spaced at one-week intervals to allow your body to flush out the fat released during the process of Ultrasound Body Contouring.
Is treatment suitable for everyone?
No. All treatments are subject to individual assessment. Some contraindications to treatment include having a pace-maker in situ, kidney disease (as fat cells are excreted via the kidneys), pregnancy etc.
How much does Body Contouring cost and how many sessions do I need?
Pricing depends on the modality(s) used and area treated, single sessions start from $149 for radio frequency only, combination treatments are generally $299 per session. Discounted packages are available for multiple areas and courses booked and paid at time of booking.

For beautiful results following your treatment it is recommend to drink plenty of fresh water pre and post session, reduce caffeine, and avoid alcohol for 48 hours following treatments as this will greatly help the process of removing the fatty acids naturally from your body. Movement is also recommended afterwards to help to activate your lymphatic system.

I offer a selection of mobile beauty treatments throughout Hawke’s Bay, including spray tanning, massage, facials, waxing, tinting and pedicures.
Spray tans are available exclusively as a mobile service, so you can get your tan done in the comfort of your own home without having to head back out afterwards.
Mobile appointments are also a big part of what I’ve done over the years. I’m experienced and comfortable working with clients of all ages and in all kinds of situations, including those with limited mobility, elderly clients in their own homes or rest homes, hospital care and end-of-life care. Treatments can always be adapted to suit the individual, their comfort and their circumstances.
Group bookings are also available for hens’ parties, retreats, special occasions and pamper days.
